Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara has won a number awards that include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara first became known for her acting in the year 1974, while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Along with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara as well as Candy started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were added to the Second City artistic board in 2022.
